Service Description

You can learn to throw clay on the wheel in this 12 week course and have some really cool pottery to take home. The class will cover wedging, centering, pulling, trimming, use of tools and surface techniques. Basic small to medium vessels will be taught (such as cylinders and small bowls). Students will also learn basic glazing techniques. Each student will work on their own wheel and learn the basics of throwing and shaping clay. If a student has already participated in our pottery wheel class or camp, this class will help them develop the skills that they have learned and take them to the next level of proficiency. Students should wear old clothes because work on the potter’s wheel can get messy. Classes are held once weekly. A missed class can be made upon another class day. Class is limited to 12 students and will be cancelled if enrollment is below 4 students. So bring your friends!

Cancellation Policy

Classes and/or monthly classes may be canceled at any time. We do appreciate notice a week prior to cancellation. There are no refunds for classes not attended. There are no refunds for registration and supply fees. If you must cancel due to illness or emergency, make up classes are available upon request and when available.
